At Simply Sheds, we manufacture and build anything from standard sheds to bespoke summer houses. Our yard is in Edinburgh, and we service the central belt including Glasgow, Stirling and Dunfermline.

At Simply Sheds, we have over 60 years joinery experience across our staff, and we have the skills to build a wide range of possibilities for your garden. We deliver both standard sheds (with possible customization) and bespoke solutions. Apart from sheds, we also design and build summer houses, playhouses for kids and pet houses. The first thing we do, is consult with you about your space, needs and wishes. We can then agree together with you on a suitable product to meet your requirements – we can draw up an initial impression, and make any amendments to the design, until you’re fully satisfied.

Standard Sheds in Edinburgh

Whatever type of shed you want, Simply Sheds will be able to help you! Our range of standard sheds is huge, and includes corner sheds and potting sheds which let in a lot of light. Our sheds are available in various sizes and types of cladding. Walk around in our Edinburgh yard to see examples of our standard sheds, or look at the options in the gallery below. Our standard sheds are:

  • Available in various standard sizes from 4×2 feet up to 12×10 feet.
  • Clad in in either 12mm or 15mm tongue and groove weatherboard wood.
  • Provided with an 18mm floor and 11mm roof.

High Quality Materials

We only use hard wearing, long-lasting materials, to ensure your shed will stand the test of time. For anything up to 10 feet, we generally use 45mm x 38mm Canadian Lumber Standard (CLS) framing (C16 graded timber). Any products over 10 feet generally use 63mm x 38mm CLS (also C16 graded timber).

Consultation and Aftercare Advice

We are happy to give you advice on what will be the right type of shed for you. . You get free aftercare advice on all our products, to make sure you know how to maintain the shed and maximise its lifespan.
